Young Nuclear Professional
Early Career Award
The outstanding Young Professional Award will recognize a young professional for meritorious service in the interests of civil society and have made a valuable contribution to nuclear science and applications.
To be eligible, a candidate must be a young professional working in the nuclear environment and being 39 years of age or younger. Anyone (YGN members or not) can submit nominations or recommendations for this award (nomination for someone or auto-nomination).
Nominations must include the following supporting documents:
• Curriculum Vitae;
• List of publications;
• Two letters of recommendation out of which at least one has to be from a senior professional / mentor.
Juan Alberto Gonzalez
Garrido Award
The Juan Alberto Gonzalez Garrido award is to be given by the IYNC to a National (or continental) Young Generation Network that has given outstanding service to the benefit of the young generation, enjoys a great bottom-up support from its members or offers a big variety of interesting events.
The Juan Alberto Gonzalez Garrido award was created in 2016 in memoriam of Juan Alberto Gonzalez Garrido, a dedicated and enthusiastic IYNC officer, who died in the Paris attacks on November, 13th 2015.
Nominations must include the following supporting documents:
• YGN last country report;
• A small summary of max. 1000 words about what makes your YGN special;
• A summary of your last 4 successful events.
