Conference Venue
The International Youth Nuclear Congress and Barakah Youth Council is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, or any other factor. This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations and guidelines for behavior during the conference.
Expected Behavior
- Respect
- Treat all participants with kindness, respect, and consideration.
- Inclusivity
- Foster an inclusive environment that welcomes and values all participants.
- Avoid language or behavior that may be discriminatory or offensive.
- Professionalism
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
- Refrain from disruptive behavior during presentations and sessions.
- Collaboration
- Encourage collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
- Be open to networking opportunities and building professional relationships.
- Compliance
- Follow all applicable laws and conference policies.
- Adhere to the rules and regulations of the conference venue.
Unacceptable Behavior
- Harassment
- Harassment, including but not limited to, offensive comments, intimidation, or unwelcome advances, will not be tolerated.
- Discrimination
- Discrimination based on gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, or any other factor is not acceptable.
- Disruption
- Any form of disruptive behavior, including heckling or interrupting speakers, is not allowed.
- Violence
- Threats, intimidation, or any form of violence will result in immediate removal from the conference.
Reporting Violations
If you experience or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, please report it to a conference organizer or staff member promptly. Reports can be made in person or via email to iync2024@iync.org.
Consequences of Violation
Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in expulsion from the conference without a refund, and further legal action may be taken if necessary.
