Denis Janin, IYNC President and Victor Murogov, President of the International Union Veterans Nuclear Energy and Industry (IUVNEI), signed on November 11, 2016 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the collaboration between both organizations. The IUVNEI is a group of senior professionals created in 2016. It gathers more than 20 existing associations of retired staff with experience in nuclear sciences and applications. The President, Victor Murogov, former IAEA Deputy Director General for Nuclear Energy, agreed with IYNC on the unique opportunity for the IUVNEI members to transfer their knowledge to young professionals. This new MoU opens for IYNC concrete collaboration opportunities on mentorship, career advices or technical coaching. It further supports the IYNC mission with regards to knowledge transfer between generations and across international boundaries.
